There are three segments to Mohawk Industries, Inc.: Flooring Rest of the Work also known as Flooring ROW, Global Ceramic and Flooring NA or Flooring North America. Mohawk Industries, Inc. was founded in 1988 and currently headquartered in Calhoun, Georgia, sources, markets, distributes, design and manufactures flooring products for worldwide commercial and residential spaces, whether it is a remodel or a new construction.




The Flooring ROW segment carries products under the brands Quick-Step, Balterio, Xtratherm, Moduleo, Unilin, Pergo and IVC as well as the licenses patents that relate to their flooring manufacturers. They provide vinyl, laminate and hardwood flooring as well as chipboard products, insulation boards, roofing elements and medium-density fiberboards. All products are sold to a wide range of customers including private labeling programs, buying groups, home centers, independent distributors, ceramic specialists, shop at home, department stores, mass merchandisers, retailers, commercial end users, floor covering retailers, company-operated service centers and stores, wholesalers, and commercial contractors.




The Global Ceramic segment markets and distributes products under the brands Marazzi, Daltile, KAI, American Olean, Ragno, Kerama Marazzi and Emil Group. Products include a range of natural stone products as well as ceramic and porcelain tiles. This segment also sources, distributes and markets other tile related products.




The Flooring NA segment carry flooring products under the brands Smart Strand, IVC, Columbia Flooring, Pergo, Karastan, Quick-Step, Aladdin, Horizon, Portico and Durkan as well as the Mohawk brand. The products that are marketed and distributed under this segment includes laminate, carpets, carpet pads, rugs, luxury tiles, hardwood and sheet vinyl products, all in a wide range of patterns, colors and textures.
