If you live in the Miami area you probably already know the plagues and pitfalls of ceramic tile and installation - at least you've heard some of the horror stories. You probably also think it won't happen to you...
In our area, there are more ceramic tile installers (each with 10-years experience, or so they say) than there are customers - at least it seems that way. Most companies sell tile and hand the customer a list of tile installers - and wish them good luck, and laugh as the customer leaves...
We have our own crews do our installations. If you believe nothing else - believe that this is safer for you. It may cost a little more – but it is well worth it. Have you ever tried to remove ceramic tile from a floor? Not fun. Once it's installed, you don't want to have to remove it - it's a dusty mess.
Our ceramic tile with installation packages range from $5.50 psf to $10.00 psf for most ceramic and porcelain tiles. Marble and stone can range from $11.00 psf to $16.00 psf. Of course, custom work is additional, and there are some unique tiles and stones that will be more expensive.
